Kitchen Party at TapRoot Farms

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Kim Barlow, an extremely talented local musician has been hosting Kitchen Party's all summer long in and around the Village of Canning. She reached out to us to see if we would like to team up on one, and our answer was a definite YES!

We will be hosting, Kim and along with her pal and fellow musician Heather Kelday and their band Ida Red for an evening full of music. Heather Kelday is a musical force with a powerful voice, and beautiful songwriting that captures the wild nature of this land that inspires her. She will play a set of her new originals and probably some songs to sing along, and then Ida Red will join her for a good ol' hoe-down with a rowdy set of old-time fiddle & banjo tunes and originals, with Heather and Kim Barlow on banjos and guitars, Amy Lounder on fiddle, and Peter Williams on stand-up bass, and lots of singing of harmonies! There will be a campfire jam after the show, so feel free to bring a song or an instrument to share.

To make this night even more special, we will be serving Jerk Pork with salad and corn on the cob (all from the farm :) ) Before the music starts!

If this sounds like something you would like to be  part of tickets are $25.00 and can be purchased through this website

The event is also out on Facebook

We look forward to seeing those of you who can join us!  And stay tuned...I do not have all of the details just yet, but we will be having our annual Jerk Pork Dinner on Sunday August 18th (I'll send out another email shortly).

Kindly,

Brogan
