TapRoot CSA - Week 13

Patricia and Tim cooked for our second farm lunch. Curried squash soup with sausages or chickpeas,
cabbage apple salad with a apple cider vinaigrette, butter and fresh bread from the boulangerie la vendéenne.

Farm Notes:

- Saturday afternoon at the Farm -

Josh ,Kingsley, Patrick and Courtney got more tunnels up. 

One greenhouse has been filled with seedlings and we are now working on filling up another one.  

Greens in the tunnel starting to come up, and goats chilling out. 

Easy turnip recipe -  
a celeriac and potato bake.
Our ham pieces are smaller than in this recipe , but it could be easily adapted. The hams are fully cooked/cured.

Thanks to those who came out to the member gathering and field walk.
It was great to see some new and old members and chat about the farm.
