Week 15 TapRoot CSA

Justine here. For those of you who are new to the CSA, and don't know me, I have been with TapRoot and the CSA since our second year. I've had many different roles on the farm and seen both my job and the farm grow and evolve throughout the years. Most recently I was managing the day to day of the CSA. I'm currently on maternity leave, but since both Josh and Patricia were going to be away this week I came in to help for a few hours on share making days. At five months Hazel isn't too interested in the office, but luckily Katelyn and Kim have been great at keeping Hazel occupied while I get a few things done.

Below is Kim and Hazel taking a walk around the office :)

Here are a few updates I got from around the farm today:

Gilbert (my 3 year old) ) and I also planted some peas out in our garden at home this weekend. If you have a garden bed, or planters on the balcony, you can too! Last year we had so much fun in the garden, and this year I want to plant more vegetables and fruits that we can eat right out in the garden. Peas and beans are our favorite and most never make it into the house.

I hope you all have a great week!

Take care, Justine
