Week 30 TapRoot CSA 2014

October 20, 2014

Farm update:

Thank you for those of you who responded to my email on Friday. Feedback, concerns, payments, surprise, and other emotions were shared with me. I just want you to know that Josh and I and the whole team truly appreciate your feedback. AND THANK YOU for the payments. I am in the process of drafting a blog to respond to the questions of how and why this situation exists to begin with.

Point is, thank you for checking your accounts. It is really important that you do. There are moments of human error here at TapRoot - we are a farm that is all about humans - so thank you for helping us!

Have a fantastic week everyone! As I type these words 7:22PM  Josh is bringing all the bins of squash in with the forklift to the storage building because it is not too cold for them outside. Gerald and Louise are outside the office door checking their facebook while Lily chats with them. Jack the dog is running around and so is Frank (the kid). I spent the day in Municipal Chambers at Committee of the Whole while Jocelyn, Josh, Meagan, Jem, Jill, Amy, Jon, Sylvan, and Kingsley's crew and Bobbie's crew and Richard, Malcolm's crew, Betty and Evelyn and so many others worked today to bring food to the table. I am tremendously grateful for everyone who participates in this food movement! 7:31PM - Time to take the kids home to bed.
